Reselling jet lighters by the box: working out the margin
Most people buying to resell look only at the box price, then find the margin gone because shipping and fees were never added. This page lays out the real numbers for both models: cost per piece, break-even per box, and what you must add before setting a price.

The sell-side figures use our own counter price purely as a worked example. What you charge depends on your location and customers, and none of the costs further down are deducted yet.
How many to sell before the box pays for itself
Divide the box price by your selling price and round up. A ฿480 box at ฿45 each gives 10.7, so eleven pieces. Price lower and the break-even count rises accordingly.

Worked from the box cost alone, before shipping and fees. Use it to see what one price step up or down does to the spread.

The costs people forget
- Freight from us to you. On a single box the per-piece share is high; several boxes spread it thinner.
- Delivery to your own customer, plus box and padding, if you sell online.
- Marketplace commission and ad spend, which take several percent of the sale price.
- Slow movers and returns. Always allow for some, and don't assume every box clears.
Starting out
Try a 3-pack before committing to a box
A 3-pack is ฿100 for either model. Test-fire them, put them on the counter, see which size your customers ask for, then order a box.
Start compact if you want more units for the same money
About five hundred baht buys twenty compacts or fifteen large. For more pieces and more colours on display, the compact gives you more. Still undecided? See the side-by-side table in compact or large.
Test-fire as soon as the box arrives
Fire five before they go on the shelf. If one won't light, tell us straight away, because exchanges have a time limit; don't wait for a customer to bring it back. Before you report it, run through lighter won't light in case it's just locked or the gas dial is turned down.
Ask the shipping cost before you order
Send your province and quantity on LINE and we'll quote the DHL shipping before you confirm. Divide it by the number of pieces and add that to your cost per piece before you set a price, so shipping doesn't quietly eat the margin.
Common questions
How much is a full box?
Compact: a box of 20 is ฿480, ฿24 each. Large: a box of 15 is ฿450, ฿30 each. These are our Sampheng counter prices before shipping.
Is there a minimum order?
No. A single piece, a pack, or a full box all work, and you can mix models in one order.
How much do I make per piece?
It depends on your price. At our counter price the compact costs ฿24 and sells at ฿45, a ฿21 spread; the large costs ฿30 and sells at ฿59, a ฿29 spread. That's before shipping, packing and platform fees.
How many do I have to sell to cover the box?
At our counter price, 11 of 20 compacts cover the ฿480 box, and 8 of 15 large cover the ฿450 box.
Does the price drop above a certain volume?
The published box price is our counter wholesale price. For repeat multi-box orders, message us and we'll talk.
Can I choose the colours in a box?
No. Full boxes come colour-mixed as packed. If you need specific colours, order single pieces or 3-packs and note the colours in the cart.
Can you ship jet lighters upcountry?
Contains flammable gas and ships nationwide via DHL. Cash on delivery available, and we confirm the shipping cost before you commit.
